1. What is SoftHunt
SoftHunt is an online platform where European founders and builders can submit, discover, and discuss early-stage products and projects. The service is operated from Sweden and is primarily intended for users based in the European Union, though access is not restricted by geography.
By creating an account or using SoftHunt, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Who can use SoftHunt
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 16, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
SoftHunt reserves the right to refuse or terminate access for any user who violates these terms.
3. Account rules
- You may only create one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans or gain unfair advantages is not allowed.
- You must provide accurate information when registering. Impersonating another person or organisation is prohibited.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Do not share your account credentials with others.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Content rules
You agree not to post, upload, or share content that:
- Is illegal under Swedish or EU law, including content that violates copyright, defamation laws, or data protection regulations.
- Is spam, unsolicited promotional material, or coordinated inauthentic behaviour.
- Impersonates another person, brand, or organisation.
- Is sexually explicit or NSFW.
- Promotes hate, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups.
- Contains malware, phishing links, or other harmful code.
- Violates the privacy of others (e.g. sharing personal data without consent).
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules without prior notice.
5. Uploaded files and product content
You own your content. Anything you upload to SoftHunt - logos, screenshots, descriptions - remains yours. You retain full ownership and copyright.
By uploading content, you grant SoftHunt a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, store, and reproduce that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform (e.g. showing your product on listing pages or in search results). This licence ends when you delete your content or account.
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you submit. Do not upload files you do not own or have permission to share.
6. Product submissions
- Submitted products must be real and genuinely exist or be in development.
- You may not submit a product you are not affiliated with in order to claim credit or traffic.
- Fake reviews, coordinated upvoting, self-promotion rings, or any manipulation of rankings is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.
- SoftHunt is not a marketplace - we do not facilitate purchases or transactions between users.
7. Termination
By you: You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your public content (product listings, forum posts) will be removed or anonymised.
By us: We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these terms, engages in abusive behaviour, or poses a risk to the platform or its users. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you, but are not obligated to do so in cases of serious violations.
8. Liability and disclaimers
SoftHunt is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free access to the service.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.
We are not responsible for the accuracy or legality of content posted by users. If you believe content on the platform infringes your rights, contact us at hello@softhunt.eu.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will attempt to notify registered users by email.
Continued use of SoftHunt after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden and applicable EU law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence grant you additional rights.
